Cultivating Connection through Responsiveness
Are you looking for a deeper understanding of your child’s real needs as they grow?
The way we choose to discipline may effect their behavior in the moment, and may effect their feelings about themselves and their ability to be authentic with you going forward. Consciously creating your parenting style, and being aware of your responsiveness from the early months and years will help set the stage for a deep connection and authentic relationship with your child. It starts in infancy!!
This workshop is an opportunity to explore the choices we will make as parents, in the toughest times of discipline and parenting, and follow the impact of those choices through to adolescence. We will discover whether or not we are supporting the long term goals we have for our children, such as empathy, kindness, connection, making the right choices, and avoiding harming others.
Be prepared to learn how we can help cause the attitudes and qualities we would love to see in our future child!
This class will bring up conversations around:
Positive discipline,
Tantrums,
Time outs and separation
Hitting, biting, and other physical displays of emotions
Attachment and responsiveness
Long term vs Short term goals
